3 Activities performed this week 05/11/2012 to 11/11/2012
3.1 Inspection of 2 x A10V and 2 x A2FLM motors on 07/11/2012
There are a total of 6 motors undergoing repairs with Anda Hydraulics. However, as repairs for
the 2 A10V and 2 A2FLM motors are complete, a pressure test session was conducted on the
premises of Anda Hydraulics’ workshop on the afternoon of 7th November 2012, Wednesday.
The pressure test was witnessed by two Aker Solutions representatives, Overhaul Project
Engineer, Kern Lim, and QAQC, Ramasamy Marimuthu.
During the pressure tests, no abnormalities or leaks were found. The pumps appear to be
working better than expected range.
The 4 motors will be delivered to Aker Solutions workshop next week along with the test
reports.
A detailed test report of the inspection done on the 4 motors is attached at the end of this
document. Please refer to Test Ref no: MA1212449a, MA1212450a, MA1212455a and
MA1212456a.
It is noted that there are remaining 2 A2FLM motors which are not ready for testing yet. The
vendor will update us on the progress of the 2 A2FLM motors as soon as the motors are ready.

3.2 Assembly Process of DDM and Dolly
3.2.1 DDM
This week, the team commenced reassembling of the DDM from last week.
Firstly, new Bushings for the Swivel Housing were installed. Next, the Main Gear was locked in
position with a reading of 7.5mm. Thirdly, the Bull Gear cover is covered and properly secured
in place.
On top of that, the Accumulator and Gear Lock Assembly were mounted. The Pinion Gear
assembly and the Manifold were installed onto the Main Frame.
Last but not least, the Sub-Assembly was rotated and checked with a hydraulic motor to check
for oil leakages. No leakages were detected visually while the oil level maintained.

3.2.2 Dolly
This week, the team changed the fittings for the Control Valve Cabinet, and installed new
Bushings to the Dolly Frame. And finally, the Control Valve, which was undergoing servicing
with a third party vendor, was delivered back to Aker Solutions workshop upon completion.
For more information regarding the pressure test done for the Proportional Valve, please refer
to test report Q12BL-267 attached at the end of this document.

3.1 Assembly of Motors
This week, the completed motors were delivered to Aker Solutions workshop. Upon receipt of
the motors, the team proceeded ahead to mount the motors. And while waiting for the spare
parts to arrive at the workshop, the team was asked to wire lock the bolts.

3.1 Continue assembly of DDM
This week, the repairs for the 2 A6VLm motors were complete. Before receiving the items, the
2 motors were sent for a thorough pressure test to check on the mechanisms. As soon as the 2
motors are tested, they were delivered back to the workshop.
Refer to test reports, MA1212451, MA1212452, MA1212644, attached at the back of this
document.
The team then proceeded onto mount the Hydraulic motors and install the Suspension Plate
and Thrust Nut. After which, they moved on to mount and secure the body of the DDM onto the
Skid. Subsequently, the Lubrication pumps were fitted on with new check valves and installed
onto the body of the DDM.
Last but not least, the IBOP is serviced and ready to undergo pressure testing.

3.1 Continue assembly of DDM
This week, the team focused on fitting the new hoses onto the DDM. The Link Tilt Assembly,
Kelly Valve and Control Panel were all installed on the DDM.
The IBOP underwent a Hydrostatic Pressure Test as recommended by Aker Solutions from a
third party vendor, Pemac, on 22/12/2012 and it was found to be satisfactory. A certificate of
the Hydrostatic test is attached at the end of this document.
