(in the office hallway, Mrs.

Ford and the manager are having a serious conversation)

Mrs. Ford: What do you think about this list of the employees that should be laid off that I've written?
(showing clipboard)

Manager: I'm quite familiar with this employee's performance.

Mrs. Ford: What about Delaney?

Manager: (discussing by looking at the clipboard)

(Delaney passing by accidentally hears her name being mentioned by Mrs. Ford and the manager)

Delaney: (peeking behind the wall and talking to herself) Did I just misheard? Why did Mrs. Ford and the
manager mentioned my name? Omg, I think im in trouble

(Delaney starts to panic and thinks about avoiding Mrs. Ford. Eventually she heads to the break room)

Delaney: Omg What should I do? How can I avoid Mrs. Ford? That's so scary (pacing back and forth
with worry)

(Delaney see the box in the middle of the room)

Delaney: There's a box? I think I can hide in this box for a while.

(Without thinking Delaney enters the box. Not long after, Jill and Nathan come in to rest and try the
cookies on the table.)

Jill: (sitting on the table and reading a book)

Nathan: Mrs. Ford? Mrs. Ford? (exits the room and tries to catch up with Mrs. Ford)

(Nathan manages to make Mrs. Ford stop her step)

Nathan: If I've made a mistake, please forgive me, Mrs. Ford.

Mrs. Ford:Why did you say that to me? (with a cold stare)

Nathan: I think there's something different about you to me.

Mrs. Ford: (smiling slightly) try and think properly about my attitude toward you

Nathan: (getting more and more confused and nervous about Mrs. Ford) Is there something wrong with
my performance?

Mrs. Ford: You should go back to your workplace and do it properly.

Jill: No way!

(Nathan back to the break room and surprised that

Delaney is in front of him)

Nathan: Delaney, why are you here?

Delaney: Hehehe, I was actually hiding in this box to avoid Mrs. Ford.

Nathan: Why, what happened?

Delaney: I thought Mrs. Ford had put me on the list of employees to be laid off, but I just wrong, Mrs.
Ford really liked my performance.

Nathan : Now I'm the one in big trouble.

Jill: What happened, Nathan?

Nathan : Mrs. Ford is being cold and snappy with me as if I wasn't doing a good job.

Delaney: What have you done to make Mrs. Ford act like that?

Nathan: I don't know either.

Jill: That's enough, let's go back to the workroom and do well.
