1. Yogyakarta state University
Then we immediatelly entered the UNY hall to attend the UNY campus hearing.
Yogyakarta state university or UNY, is one of the state Universities (PTN) in Indonesia
located in Depok District, Sleman Regenci, Yogyakarta Special Region.
Every year, Yogyakarta State University (UNY) commemorates May 21 as the
date of his birth. This date is the founding date of the Yogyakarta Teaching and Education
Institute (IKIP), which is the predecessor of UNY. IKIP Yogyakarta was inaugurated by
the Minister of Higher Education and Science (PTIP) on May 21, 1964.
The history of IKIP Yogyakarta cannot be separated from the existence of the
Faculty of Pedagogic (FP) at Gajah Mada University which was established on September
19 !955. at that time FP UGM had two sections, namely the Education Section and the
Physical Education Section.
On February 2, 1962, the Faculty of Pedagogics was split into three faculties,
namely the Faculty of Education (FIP), the Faculty of Physical Education (FPD), and the
Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP). However, in 1963 the FPD was
incorporated into the Department of Sports and made the Sports High School (STO).
UGM, various state schools (elementary, junior high and high school) in
Yogyakarta, and buildings belonging to the Yogyakarta Sultanate Palace. In 1977, STO
joined as part of IKIP Yogyakarta under the name Sports Teaching Faculty (FKIK).
On January 1, 1971, there was an important development at IKIP Yogyakarta,
namely the establishment of the Central Library of IKIP Yogyakarta. As the heart of
knowledge in tertiary institutions, library development is carried out directly under the
chancellor. Meanwhile, starting in 1972 IKIP Yogyakarta used the Semester Credit
System (SKS) for lectures. With the enactment of this SKS, starting in 1973 in one year
there were two lecture registrations which were held semiannually, replacing the previous
system.

Bakpia Jogkem is very suitable as a special Yogyakarta food souvenir
8. Malioboro Street
Jalan Malioboro (Javanese: ꦢꦭꦤ꧀ꦩꦭꦶꦪꦧꦫ, translit. Dalan Maliabara) is the name of one
of the three street areas in the city of Yogyakarta that stretches from Tugu Yogyakarta to the
Yogyakarta Kilometer Zero Point intersection.
Overall, the Malioboro area consists of Jalan Margo Utomo, Jalan Malioboro and Jalan Margo
Mulyo. This road is the axis of the Yogyakarta Kraton Imaginary Line.
This road connects Tugu Yogyakarta to the Yogyakarta Palace complex. On the north side is
Jalan Margo Utomo, which stretches from the south of the Tugu area to the east side of
Yogyakarta Station. Between Jalan Margo Utomo and Jalan Malioboro are separated by a
railroad crossing which is quite unique, where this crossing uses a sliding gate.
