The young student felt completely in a pickle when she realized she'd bitten off more than she could
chew with her heavy course load. While tempted to just bark up the wrong tree and choose the
easiest option, she remembered her grandma's advice: "a stitch in time saves nine." She decided to
restructure her schedule, knowing it was better than dealing with all bark and no bite attempts later.
Her friends, who had put the cart before the horse by partying instead of studying, found themselves
struggling. In the end, the student's diligent approach, even though initially a flash in the pan for
