Generic Rubric:
I look for (1) comprehensive treatment of case questions, (2) ability to draw on specific case
facts to support stated positions, (3) consistency across questions of the case so that answers
support (rather than contradict) each other, and (4) a set of key recommendations that offer
specific suggestions that can be realistically implemented. For example, many of the issues and
challenges are happening under Marcus watch and current leadership methods. Simply saying
"he should fix these issues" is not going to result in an A or A+ paper. I am
asking what he should do at a time when he has already tested and tried these solutions. I am also
curious how he is going to get these done, and why you take the position(s) you do. (This 4th
point is a big deal for me…because I want to know not just what YOU think, but WHY you feel
the way you do. Back it up, support your position, but I definitely look for your thoughts.);
