Manila is a beautiful city, it is a walkable and filled with all sorts of unique places. Manila has
been the principal city of the Philippines for four centuries and is the centre of its industrial
development as well as the international port of entry. Manila was made a capital city as early
as 1570s by the Spaniards hanggang sa inilipat ni president Elpidio quirino ang capital city from
manila to Quezon city noong 1942 to 1972, 1976 sa taong ito naman ibinalik sa manila ang
pagiging capital city sa pamamahala ni pres. Marcos.
Quezon City it is named after Manuel L. Quezon, known as City of Stars because of its culture,
entertainment industry and media.
Manila has a lot of food to offer pero karamihan nun ay naadapt lang natin from other cities and
countries pero isa sa pinaka sumikat na kainan at binabalik balikan na pagkain ay sa Ugbo.
Ugbo Tondo, Manila recently gained popularity as a food hub for its endless offering of delicious
and affordable street food. Isa sa mga pinaka dinarayong pagkain dito ay ang tumbong soup, it
is very popular because of its name Tumbong, a pork intestine boiled in water with only onion,
fried garlic and salt.
Ying yings Tea House. It is located in Yuchengco St. in Binondo Manila and it is one of the
popular tea house in Manila Chinatown, and aside from tea, they serve mouthwatering dimsums
and other type Chinese foods.
Gubat sa QC. Hidden along a side street at the corner of Carlos P. Garcia Avenue and
just a stroll away from the University of the Philippines Diliman campus is Gubat
QC, a literal hole-in-the-gubat eatery tucked behind sprawling greenery and
beautiful bonsai, standing small but strong in the middle of the Diliman Bonsai
Society. This OG kamayan resto is serving a whole lot of variety of delicious filipino
food like adobong baboy, lechon kawali longganisa, tuyo at tapa.
Sto. Nino de Tondo is a tradition celebrated by Filipino Catholics marked by a procession
called "Lakbayaw," which was derived from two Filipino words lakbay (travel) and sayaw
(dance). It is celebrated every third Sunday of January where devotees carry wooden statues
and images of Sto. Niño, while chanting "Viva, Sto Nino!
In recent Chinese New Year in Binondo Manila, an almost 1m people visited Binondo to come
and join the celebration of it.
