Effects of Interpersonal Communication

(You experienced during the interview)
Learning Interviewing Ms Khen has taught me so much and I feel really privileged because this
lady has so many revelations. My conversation with her was able to reveal some
interesting aspects concerning her approach towards life, since she started as a
nobody and finally reached the top. Directly she explained me of how she went to
deal with various career obstacles from which I was able to learn a lot. What’s
intriguing is that Ms. Khen and I share certain traits, making our relationship all the
more meaningful. The interview has not only added more depth to my perspective on
her extraordinary life but provides a peek into the parallelism of our own voyages;
hence, proving to be a priceless encounter.
Helping The Interview helped me realize that it is always good to look for what you love
doing, go with what the process entails, trust that life has its downs and ups, and
understand that life is a process one explores. Also, I understood the value of
gratitude in the moment and during the journey, finding happiness and self-
sufficiency, noticing that happiness means self-satisfaction, and always recalling that
you can only change yourself while constantly striving to do your best.

Influencing Ms. Khen interviewed significantly changed me. Her outlook on life touched me
throughout the whole of the conversation. That is why I understood the importance of
chasing what you want, accepting to the flow of unstable ways in life and believe in
process, whatever it might be. According to Ms. Khen, life is a lifetime adventure of
finding one’s true identity. The idea of being grateful in the current circumstance and
during this journey that is known as life stuck in my head. It helped me understand
that true happiness is one with a deep sense of satisfaction in one’s self. The
interview highlighted an important fact, which is that individuals can only control
themselves and they should always be ready to give their all at any time. Ms. Khen’s
wise words have made me look at things from another point of view, and I will surely
be inspired by her for a long time on my way.
Relating During the interview, I found that my opinion was similar to many of Ms. Khen’s
statements. The views she shared resonated with the importance of creating a good
working environment which is something that I have always believed in. Her
narration about her challenges and successes, which I could relate to, helped me see
how common these obstacles are. Additionally, I was moved by her candidness,
which demonstrated that she was willing to share the valuable lessons she had learned
through life’s struggles. This touched me so much because it also emphasized the
need for learning and development.
Playing At the end of the interview, a light-hearted moment was revealed. When I implied
with a joke that I was content with the responses my interviewee had given me,
especially after she stated that happiness is contentment, we both laughed. Another
source of our laugh was a minor linguistic error i made while talking about ‘success’;
instead of the word ‘better place’ I said ‘a better place’. Of course, this provoked a
different kind of imaging of the word “a better place”, not what ‘a
