The chart below gives information about global sales of games

software, CDs and DVD or video.

The given bar chart illustrates the worldwide turnover of several


entertainment products during a 3-year period, starting from 2000.

Overall, CDs were the most preferable products despite a marginal


plunge, as opposed to the sales of games software.

Looking at the chart in more detail, starting at around 34 and 12 billion


dollars in 2000, whilst the yield of CDs slightly sank to approximately 32
billion dollars in 2002, a moderate shot up of 3 billion dollars of that of
games application was witnessed. The year 2003 undergone a plateau of
CDs’ grossing, and that figure for games software continued to augment
by 3 billion dollars.

Turning to the remaining category, there was a gradual upward tendency


from 17 billion dollars to 31 billion dollars in the profit of DVD/video
game, occupying the second position in the chart.
