THE FOUR DYNAMIC BROTHERS
In a small town nestled between rolling hills, there lived four siblings:
Mechanical, Chemical, Thermal, and Electrical. Each possessed a unique
gift, representing a different form of energy.
Mechanical was the eldest, always in motion, never still. Whether it was
racing down the cobblestone streets or swinging from the tree branches,
Mechanical brought life and movement whenever they went.
Chemical was the quiet one, often lost in thought. They held immense
chemical within, like a cooled spring waiting to be released. Though unseen,
their energy was palpable, ready to transform into action at any moment.
Thermal was warm-hearted and comforting, much like the sun on a chilly
day. Their energy radiated in gentle waves, bringing comfort and solace to
those in need. Whether it is a hug or a cozy fire, thermal’s presence was
always welcome.
Electrical was the youngest, but their spark was undeniable. With a
crackled and a hum, they could power the entire town with their electric
energy. From lighting up lamps to powering machinery, Electricals’ energy
was essential for progress and innovation.
Together the siblings complemented each other, weaving a tapestry of
energy that fueled the town’s vibrant life. And as they danced through the
days, they realized that while their forms of energy were different, they were
all interconnected, each playing a vital role in the harmony of their world.

I. Answer the following questions. Write your answer on your CATCH-UP

FRIDAY journal.
1. Who are the four siblings in the story, and what unique qualities do they
possess?
2. How does Mechanical’s energy differ from thermal’s energy, and how do
they contribute to the town’s atmosphere?
3. Describe Chemical’s role in the story and how his energy is portrayed.
4. What is the significance of Electricals’ energy in the town, and how does
it impact daily life?
5. Reflect on the theme of the interconnectedness among the siblings’
different forms of energy and its importance in the story’s message.

II. Make the following activity using Frayer Model. (Integration on English
literacy and SEL)
In each section, try to describe each siblings. Use your imagination to
describe their qualities and energies. Example: Mechanical is the eldest.
