I. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the lesson the pupils should be able to:

a. Understand the Disk Drive and Diskette
b. Identify the difference of the Disk Drive and Diskette

II. SUBJECT MATTER

Topic: The Disk Drive and The Diskette
References: Learning Computers the Easy Way K1 p. 59-68
Materials: powerpoint, books, pictures

III. PROCEDURE
A. Review
- Show image of the mouse and the printer. Ask the students to
differentiate the two.
- Let the students answer the maze. Help Tommy reach the right printer
for his photo.
B. Motivation
Help Mr. Cocoy meet Mr. Peter. Answer the maze.
C. Lesson Proper
Present to the class the Disk Drive and the Diskette. Show the pictures of
the two. Tell the students the use of Disk Drive and Diskette.
D. Generalization
The Disk Drive is a devise used to read data from and write data to a disk
while Diskette is a device that whatever we do in the computer is placed
inside the diskette.
E. Application
Drill 1: Trace the work Disk Drive and Diskette.
Drill 2: Connect the disk drive to its right partner.
Drill 3: Connect the dots by following the numerals.
IV. EVALUATION
Match the word to the image of Disk Drive and Diskette.

V. ASSIGNMENT
Color each part of the following computer parts as indicated.
