LEAFLET WRITING

PSR is coming and you have given yourself the best shot at getting a high score. Write a
leaflet telling you the dos and the don’ts in preparation for the big exam.
PSR is coming and you must give yourself the best shot at getting a high score. Below are
lists of the dos and don’ts before the big exam.
Things you should do:
1. Lightly, review any content you are still struggling with. Make sure you spend no more
than an hour on reviewing for your exam.
2. Make sure to have enough sleep. Getting enough sleep will help us to strengthen our
memory. You can remember the information that you have learned even better.
3. Eat healthy. Consistent breakfast will keep you energetic and focus during lesson. Take
cereals, fruits, and vegetables for my breakfast.
4. Make a proper timetable to study at home. Effective timetabling helped you to manage
my study time.
5. Make sure to do physical exercise regularly especially in the morning. You need to
regulate your blood, so you get enough oxygen in your brain.
6. Go for tuition if needed. Some students find certain subjects are challenging especially
math and science.

Things you should not do:

1. Overstudy. Overstudying can cause depression, anxiety, and burnout. Moreover, it can
cause physical aches in the body and digestive issues. Therefore, make a proper
schedule for your home study time.
2. Sleep late. You will feel sleepy and exhausted at school and may lost focus and attention
during lesson.
3. Skip breakfast. You may feel unpleasant and uncomfortable for the rest of the day if you
don’t take breakfast. It may affect your attention and focus during lesson, too.
4. Eat junk food. Eating unhealthy food can make you feel drowsy and lazy.
5. Study or review too many contents to the last minute. Over cramping can cause stress
and more confusion during the exam.
6. Over caffeinating. You may feel exhausted during the exam and can affect your focus.
Well, I really recommend you follow the measures above if you want to have the best
PSR result. All the best for your exam. Study hard, study smart.
