▪ In my opinion, high street shops are disappearing due to competition from online shopping websites,
which are cheaper and more convenient. Web-based stores allow customers to search for the best deals,
make purchases from the comfort of their homes, and receive delivery of their purchased items the next
day. Furthermore, it is impossible for traditional bricks-and-mortar stores to compete with the range of
choice that can be found online. For example, I recently used the website Amazon to buy some fairly rare
academic textbooks that were not stocked at my local bookshop. As a customer, the fact that I can find
any product imaginable online makes it almost pointless for me to make a trip to my local high street.

risk of fulfillment. People who choose a career path based on their interests are more
likely to work hard and produce better results. This provides a sense of fulfillment that no
high-paying job can provide. For example, scientists who begin their research with a low
budget and wages work day and night to achieve a scientific breakthrough, and their
contribution to society provides them with the pleasure of working in their field of interest.
Furthermore, people who choose a high-paying job solely for the monetary benefits
often struggle with motivation and career advancement. They force themselves to go
to work every morning with no motivation, whereas self-motivated individuals prefer
satisfaction over a high salary. If they decide to put in extra effort to achieve the
desired result, they will work around the clock to achieve it. As a result, they achieve
career advancement and life success in the form of both wealth and fame. For
instance, despite a good salary, Henry Miller decided to leave his day job and pursue
a career as a writer. After years of ups and downs, he rose to become one of the
twentieth century’s most famous and well-paid authors.
To summarize, while it is impossible to deny the importance of money in our
survival, I believe that job satisfaction is far more important for an individual
to thrive. After careful consideration, it is clear that the satisfaction
associated with the role is far more important than the financial benefits.
