Background

OneTron Energy Pvt Ltd (OEPL) is an energy storage and battery systems solutions company
based in Hyderabad, India. It is established by a team of technocrats with deep expertise in
designing and executing energy storage systems in collaboration with Variturn Electro Products
Ltd (VEPL), which is a 34 year old electronics and defense products manufacturer from India.

OEPL is currently focused on serving the energy storage needs of the vast India market, which
is quickly growing. Specific sectors that OEPL is focused on are residential and commercial
backup batteries, grid-scale energy storage systems, and EV batteries. OEPL is battery cell
technology agnostic. For its current use cases, OEPL is focused on Lithium Iron Phosphate
(LFP), Lithium Polymer (LiPo), and Sodium-ion technologies.

Variturn Electro Products Pvt Ltd (VEPL) was founded in 1990 with a specialization in the
manufacturing and supply of wire wound resistors and rheostats. Its product range caters to
various industries including industrial, defense, energy metering, elevators, wind energy, and
allied engineering applications, as well as non-conventional energy applications. VEPL holds
Quality Assurance Certification from DGQA, ISO 9001:2008 (from TUV-NORD). Approval with
LCSO as per defense standards JSS 50402 and also hold accreditation with CACT and C-Dot
for Telecom applications.

VEPL's technical team (now OneTron) has successfully developed an electric auto-rickshaw,
surpassing all initial expectations during testing phases. While the vehicle has yet to receive
certification and approval from relevant authorities, its performance in testing has been
exceptional.

Current Project Pipeline

The OEPL team is currently engaged in pilot projects with local builders to meet
residential energy backup requirements. These projects serve as an initial step towards
addressing the growing demand for reliable energy solutions in residential settings. The
team plans to swiftly expand its scope to include commercial and grid energy storage
solutions, driven by the substantial demand in these sectors.

Current Cells and Energy Storage System Requirement
OEPL is currently in search of LFP and LiPo cells to assemble battery packs for
prototypes. Once these pilot packs meet the satisfaction of our clients, we have a
committed order for 2000+ UPS systems. This order comes from a client who has been
impressed by our previous prototypes. This is also indicative of potential orders from
other builders in the future, which could be many multiples higher. Additionally, we
foresee participating in various opportunities to provide grid energy storage systems as
the demand for such solutions continues to grow. Here is our immediate need:

OEPL is also looking for help with shell case design and manufacturing for the battery
packs/racks.

OEPL is also open to partnerships for complete storage systems instead of just cells.

To export cells or energy storage systems to India in the long-run, it is required by the
government that they be BIS certified. OEPL will assist in getting the cells certified.
