GUIDELINES FOR POSTER PRESENTATION

General Information

• Provide a clear and concise description of the study, research objectives, methods,
results, conclusion, and recommendations.
• Highlight the key implications of your study findings to nursing education, research or
practice.
• Use Tables, Figures, or Photos effectively as appropriate to enhance visual effects.
• Do not use abbreviations.
• Posters will be scored based on the criteria for visual, content, presentation, and overall
impact.

Format of Poster

• All posters should be prepared in English.

• Posters should succinctly display the Background, Objectives, Methods, Results,
Conclusions, and Recommendation.
• Include in the poster the research title, name of author(s), institutional affiliation, and
category (if undergraduate, graduate, faculty, or professional research).
• Layout should be in landscape (horizontal orientation).
• Allotted poster size is 36 inches x 48 inches.
• Use 1-inch space margins (top-bottom-sides) for the main text/content.

Submission of Poster

• Authors are required to print their research posters and bring their own pins/tacks or
adhesive tapes.
• All posters should be submitted to the Secretariat Office during registration (attendance)
for proper posting at allocated space.
• All lead authors should be present at the poster site during the ribbon cutting for the
opening of research poster exhibits and during the poster viewing/poster presentation.

• Tentative schedule for ADPCN National Convention and General Assembly:

Day 1
7:30 am Registration and posting of posters
8:30 am Ribbon cutting for the opening of research poster exhibits
11:30 am Poster viewing/Poster presentation

Day 2
8:00 am Poster viewing/Poster presentation (cont’d)
11:30 am Poster viewing/Poster presentation (cont’d)
4:30 pm Awarding of certificates for best poster
