Information on natural gas system

Manual shut-off of gas tanks

(if there is a smell of gas or a natural gas leak)

1. Access to the natural gas tanks

• The tanks are accessed from the underbody.
• The gas tanks are concealed by a plastic cover.
To access the natural gas tanks, the cover must be removed with suitable tools
taking care not to damage the gas system components behind it.

2. Locating shut-off taps

• Each gas tank has its own tank valve with a manual
shut-off tap.
• If the rescue operation requires, each gas tank needs to be
shut off separately.

3. Closing gas tank by hand

• If the rescue operation requires, each gas tank needs to be
shut off separately.
