 Secondary school, 6th form

 Final task:

Around the world, many young people are getting organized to raise their voice to alert citizens and to demand
local and international authorities to take measures to protect our planet.

You can be part of this brave young people group and start by acting locally. Get in groups and organize a plan to
alert others in your community/country. You could make a Photographic Essay, a Booklet on line, or a video, can it
go viral?

1. What does the word wetland suggest to you in Spanish? As a guide T could ask: What does the word “Land”
stand for in Ireland, Scotland, Netherlands, England? What about the word wet? It is the opposite of dry, as
in clothing labels dry cleaning

B) Why should we care about it? State importance of the matter. Reasons.

C) How can we tell /warn others? What will we tell others?

D) Which authorities should be taking action?

Imagine you want to raise your voice for the protection of wetlands in your country. You want to be heard locally as
well as internationally, as a way of making your government react and take measures.

You will be posting information. Select the important information you will write in Spanish as well as in English. You
