Individual Project (Conducting Interview)

Interacting with industry professionals provides students with practical insights into real-world
applications, addressing challenges and industry trends beyond classroom theory. The opportunity to
interview personalities in the field allows students to seek guidance, ask pertinent questions, and build
valuable connections for potential collaborations or job opportunities.

Process:
1. Identify relevant personality.
- The person must be in reputed profession, higher position. He/She must not be relative
or close to your family.
- The person must be ready to communicate in ENGLISH only.
- Get his/her written permission for his/her involvement in your project.
2. Request for an interview.
- Once the person is ready for it orally, submit him with a handwritten request letter.
Keep one copy of it with you for submission.
3. Prepare questions.
- Keeping the person in mind, prepare your questionnaire. You may share the questions
with him/her prior to the interview.
- These questions must be related to his/her professional journey, learning lessons, work
style, motivation, message to the youth, success stories etc.
4. Conduct actual interview.
- Share his/her short INTRODUCTION in your words first.
- Continue your questions and sub-questions with discussion.
- Keep the video at least for 3 to 5 minutes only.
- Keep the VIDEO RECORDING of the entire interview.
- You may edit it with some details on screen.
- Get his/her prior permission for this recording.
5. Post Interview
- UPLOAD the video online (mostly on YOUTUBE).
- Be ready with the URL/LINK.
- Get his/her prior permission for this uploading.
