A. Content Standards: The learner demonstrates: appreciation of contemporary art forms, found in the various regions by understanding the elements and principles.
B. Performance Standards: The learner: presents a form of integrated contemporary art based on the region of his / her choice.e.g. choreography, musical instrument, literary and music composition, visual design, and/or
theatrical performance.

I. PROCEDURES
These steps should be done across the week. Spread out the activities appropriately so that students will learn well. Always be guided by demonstration of learning by the students which you can infer
from formative assessment activities. Sustain learning systematically by providing students with multiple ways to learn new things, practice their learning, question their learning processes, and draw

The teacher will show a short clip about the life of people during Modern and American Period then the students will think for a word that is related or anchored in a video = “Maria Clara at Ibarra’’
Then the teacher will ask if they know what will be the topic for this day which is Modern and American art.

E. Discussing New Concepts and Gallery Walk -
Practicing New Skills #2
For this activity, groups will curate a mini-exhibition Modern and American artworks. Each group will select a specific theme or style of Pre Colonial art and will need to conduct research on relevant
artworks. The groups will then create labels and display the artworks in a gallery walk format for the class to explore. This activity encourages research skills and attention to detail among group
members.
F. Developing Mastery Art Attack : Choose a character from the movie ‘’ Quezon’s Game’’ and Illustrate its personality, actions, and motivations. Use coloring materials to make it vibrant .

G. Finding Practical Applications of
Concepts and Skills in Daily American and Modern Art Critique: The teacher will divide the class into groups of 3-4 and have each group research a Modern and American art form and create a critique of the art form. Have the
Living students write a paper describing the art form, its history, and its importance in the Philippines. Have each group present its findings to the class.

A Critique of Spanish Art: After dividing the class into groups of three to four people, have each group do research on a different Spanish art form and then write a criticism of that art form. Instruct the
students to compose a piece of writing in which they discuss the art form, its history, and the significance it has in the Philippines. Request that each group give a presentation to the class about their
results. The students will get the chance to improve their comprehension of the art form via the practise of studying it and having a conversation about its positive qualities and negative aspects.
