Compare and contrast the various 21st century literary genres and the ones from the earlier genres/periods citing their elements, structures and traditions

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES At the end of the lesson, the learners will be able to:
1. Identify the difference between folklore and folktale
2. Understand and discuss the cultural and historical context of the story of Maria Labo
3. Analyze the story’s moral and its relevance to today’s society

story.
3. Art Activity- the students will draw or paint a scene from the story (for them to visualize the story better and also encourage their creativity).
4. Discussion- draw an object that represents your feelings towards the actions and decisions of Ma. Labo.
