 “Contemplating on my learning experience in
Introduction to Sociology”

Introduction :

Studying sociology has been a thought-provoking journey, delving into the intricate web of
human interactions and societal structures. This reflection paper aims to encapsulate my
experiences and insights gained from the introduction to sociology course, highlighting key
concepts, personal reflections, and the broader implications of understanding society through a
sociological lens.

Meeting my personal goals :

I do believe that I have gained a lot of valuable knowledge through this course which will be
beneficial to my future career path. I stated that I would attempt to goals by switching group
roles throughout the project, to a specific part of the assignment and by having regular meeting
to discuss group progress. Define specific objectives within the course, such as mastering key
theories, improving critical thinking or excelling in specific assignment. Actively participate in
class discussion, attend lecture and connect with my peers.I engaging with the material will
deepen my understanding. Explore supplementary materials, research articles and books related
to areas of interest this course to broaden my knowledge. Look for opportunities to apply
sociology concepts in real life situation. This might include fieldwork, internship or case studies.
Hone my ability to analyze social phenomena critically. Practice applying different sociological
perspective such as functionalist perspective, conflict perspective and interactionist perspective
to understand diverse aspects of Society. Establish communication with my professors by this
course, seek guidance, clarify doubts and discuss my academic and career aspirations within
course. Collaborate on projects, join study groups and engage in peer discussion, including group
work, presentation. Regularly seek feedback on my work such as assignment, blogs, presentation
and to create documents. Constructive criticism can help my identity areas for improvement and
refine my approach. Actually, I feel proud of my newfound restraint and I am better of this
experience.
Achieved experiences:

Trough course content, I learned about many different theories used in health promotion.
Reflecting on my learning experiences is sociology involves considering the key insights.
Challenge and growth my encountered such as key concepts and theories :identify the
fundamental concepts and theories I have grasped during my studies. Reflect on how these fram
works have shaped my understanding of social phenomena. Challenge faced:considered my
challenges or difficulties I have encountered in my sociological studies. This might include
complex theories, demanding assignments or navigating sociological discussion. Research and
practical experiences: If applicable, think about any research projects, internship or practical
experiences I have had in this course. Reflect on how these experiences have enriched my
learning. Achievements : acknowledge any academic achievements on milestone within this
course. This might include successful projects, high grades or positive feedback from professor.
Besides I have a new experiences within this course, such as, how to create summary, how to
create article, how to create blog and documents and to present myself in front of others.
However ,because of these experiences, I have been able to reflect on key concepts that must be
considered and the difficulties of heath promotion.
