TRENCH DOGS

 Alignment- Defensive Ends you should be tight to the OT in a 5 or 4i. No space between you and him.
NOSE-face mask to face mask.
 Responsibility- Defensive Ends You are primarily a B gap player…even when you are lined up in a 5. SPILL,
SPILL, SPILL. NOSE- own the A gaps. Take the center with you.
 Technique- Defensive Ends- Study GAS, BASE and reading visual keys. NOSE- LAG and GAS are primary for
you. ALWAYS CLOSE SPACE TO YOUR VISUAL KEY. NO AIR

HEADHUNTERS

 Alignment- Mike: 30 and Stacked, Will: 30 and apexed, Star: Indian #3, 9 tech in boundary, Sam: apexed, 9
tech to the field
 Responsibility- Mike & Will: SPILL, SPILL, SPILL. Think of yourself as a 4th & 5th rusher when in the core. Will:
outside the core, you are “hold” or “fold” and might be tied into the coverage sometimes. Sam and Star:
YOU ARE KILLERS. PUNISH THE BALL CARRIER. Star: be patience and play football. Sam: Play everything
outside end. GET OFF BLOCKS, MAKE TACKLES.
 Technique- Fast Fit, Track the hip, Stick with your decision

ATTACK SQUAD
 Study Slides 35, 40-47
 Alignment- Indian #1 and Outlaw #2.
 Responsibility- NOTHING CHEAP AND NOTHING DEEP: CBs and safeties: Be aggressive in underneath
coverages and quick at staying over the top when called for. Don’t be nosey. Trust your teammates
 Technique- CBs: Press, press bail. Safeties: Align outlaw then work to Indian leverage to close MOF. Star is
there for show only unless he is tagged in pass responsibility.
