As the Designate Tourism Officer of the Municipality of Buug, Zamboanga Sibugay, I have the
honor to request your esteemed office for permission to conduct a benchmarking activity. We
plan to visit various tourism sites and facilities in Siquijor from September 6-10, 2023. The
delegation will be composed of the Local Chief Executive, Sangguniang Bayan Members,
Tourism Officer and Mayor’s support staffs. Our goal is to gather insights from innovative
policies that have effectively increased tourism in your area. These insights can assist legislative
bodies in recognizing new strategies from your PLGU, resulting in the development of fresh
legislative frameworks. This, in turn, will help us enhance our tourism offerings in Buug.
Additionally, we are interested in understanding the successful revenue generation methods
employed in Siquijor from tourism.

We would be grateful if the Provincial Government of Siquijor could extend their assistance to
us by providing a comprehensive list of recommended tourist destinations and facilities that we
can visit. Additionally, we would greatly appreciate their guidance and assistance during our trip.
