My name is Claudio Henrique Albuquerque Rodrigues, I am a Telecommunications
Engineer from the Center for Analysis, Research and Technological Innovation - FU-
CAPI, Master in Electrical Engineering by the Federal University of Amazonas and
specialist in Digital TV by the National Telecommunications Institute. I have more
than 20 years of hands-on experience in my work field.
Furthermore, I have worked as a substitute professor at IFAM - Federal Institute
of Amazonas, lecturing disciplines such as Antennas, Propagation Aspects, Optical
Communications, Satellite Communications, Analog Electronics I, Analog Electronics
II, Digital Electronics, Telecommunications, Mobile Telephony and Wireless Systems.
Currently, I work as Technical Coordinator for the ICTS group in Manaus, which
made me have the pleasure of being the immediate superior of Rafael dos Santos do
Nascimento. As his coordinator I can testify that he had a crucial role in our ongoing
project which is the development of a transmission system via infrared light, based on
the IEEE 802.11 modulation scheme.
Moreover, in order to achieve our goals, Rafael demonstrated a solid knowledge
related to digital communication systems, analysis of RF systems and development of
hardware for application in optics.
In addition, he has the ability to solve complex problems under pressure, excellent
spoken and written English - which was necessary with our international suppliers
and reports.
Thus, for all the aforementioned information, I firmly believe that he would be a
valuable asset as part of the EMIMEO scholarship program.
