Spanning from September to October of the current year, this year's iteration of the Overseas Chinese Tourism and
Culture Week, under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, unfolded across the globe in seamless
collaboration. A total of 56 overseas Chinese cultural centers and tourism offices orchestrated a diverse array of
engaging online and offline activities, including thematic exhibitions, captivating video screenings, and enlightening
seminars. Through these vibrant narratives, the remarkable tales of preserving and perpetuating China's exceptional
traditional cultural heritage, the pivotal role of culture and tourism in alleviating poverty and revitalizing rural
communities, and the trailblazing advancements of contemporary China were captivatingly unveiled. These events
served as a magnificent showcase, magnifying the monumental achievements of China's resolute pursuit of socialist
construction in the new era.

Throughout the duration of the Overseas Chinese Tourism and Culture Week, overseas Chinese cultural centers and
tourism offices ingeniously employed innovative methods of international communication, utilizing diverse
channels and presenting compelling examples to narrate the tale of China, thereby illuminating the extraordinary
experiences, wisdom, and solutions that China embodies. As a result, an extraordinary surge of interest and
admiration emanated from the hearts of foreign citizens, elevating China's allure to unprecedented heights.

The Chinese Embassy's Tourism Office in Rome, in collaboration with the Italian-Chinese Cultural Exchange and
Development Center and other institutions, orchestrated the grand event "My China Story." Esteemed martial arts
instructors, aspiring young poets, renowned musical bands, and distinguished travel agencies representing various
professions were cordially invited, as they all shared one common experience—a profound connection with China
through work, life, and travel. Their captivating narratives, beautifully captured in short videos, artistically portrayed
the genuine, endearing, and venerable essence of China.

"When does the moon ever appear? Lift your wine cup and question the azure sky. Unbeknownst is the celestial
palace, what year is it tonight?" The mellifluous and evocative voices soared, elevating the poetry and song
gathering titled "Moonlit Voyage, Scarlet Journey" held at the Beijing Chinese Cultural Center in Cairo to
unprecedented heights. The multimedia platform of the Cairo Chinese Cultural Center showcased a myriad of videos
from the esteemed "2022 Overseas Chinese Tourism and Culture Week," amassing an astounding viewing count of
over 50,000, thus captivating the hearts and minds of nearly 200,000 esteemed patrons.

The Berlin Chinese Cultural Center ingeniously hosted an enchanting cultural salon, aptly named "Rural
Revitalization: The Path to Serenity and Bliss." Focusing on the pivotal theme of rural revitalization, the event
unfolded through captivating short films and thought-provoking lectures, intricately unraveling the profound
philosophy encapsulated in the adage, "Green Waters and Verdant Mountains are the True Treasures of Gold and
Silver." This immersive experience painted a vivid picture of China's resolute commitment to comprehensive rural
revitalization strategies, sustainable development, and the promotion of environmentally friendly rural tourism—an

of China's monumental achievements in poverty alleviation solidified, as they eagerly yearned for an augmented
cultural exchange and a revival of vibrant tourism between the two nations in the post-pandemic era.
