MISSION AND VISION

MISSION STATEMENT:
"To follow Christ's example, the true Lamb of God, by serving people with love. We are committed to
sharing the message of salvation, providing a place of spiritual growth, and creating a community that
reflects our Savior's love and compassion."
Explanations:

EXPLANATION

1. Following Christ's Example, the True Lamb of God:

Supporting Verse: John 13:15 (ESV) - "For I have given you an example, that you also should do just as
I have done to you."
Our mission is to follow the example set by Christ, who is often referred to as the Lamb of God. He
demonstrated selfless love, compassion, and servanthood during His earthly ministry, and we strive to
emulate His character in our actions and interactions.

2. Serving People with Love:

Supporting Verse: Mark 10:45 (ESV) - "For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve,
and to give his life as a ransom for many."
We are called to serve people with love, just as Christ came to serve and give His life as a ransom for
many. Our service is rooted in love and selflessness, aiming to meet the needs of others and reflect
Christ's sacrificial love.

3. Sharing the Message of Salvation:

Supporting Verse: Romans 10:14 (ESV) - "How then will they call on him in whom they have not
believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to
hear without someone preaching?"
Our commitment includes spreading the message of salvation. We understand that faith comes by
hearing the message, and we are dedicated to proclaiming the good news of Jesus Christ as the
source of salvation for all.

4. Providing a Place of Spiritual Growth:

Supporting Verse: Ephesians 4:15-16 (ESV) - "Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in
every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together
by every joint with which it is equipped when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so
that it builds itself up in love."
We strive to offer a place where individuals can experience spiritual growth and maturity. This is
achieved through teaching the truth in love, fostering an environment that encourages growth, and
providing the resources necessary for personal and collective spiritual development.
5. Creating a community that Reflects our Savior's Love and Compassion:
Supporting Verse: 1 John 4:11 (ESV) - "Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one
another."
Our mission extends to creating a community that mirrors the love and compassion of our Savior.
We are called to love one another just as God has loved us. In doing so, we manifest the
transformative power of Christ's love within our community and beyond.

VISION STATEMENT
"We are a loving and welcoming church that brings people to Christ, helps them grow spiritually, and
equips them to become disciples of God, proclaiming Jesus as the Lamb of God."

EXPLANATION

1. Loving and Welcoming Church:

Supporting Verse: John 13:34-35 (ESV): "A new command I give to you, that you love one another: just
as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this, all people will know that you are my
disciples if you have love for one another."

2. Bringing People to Christ:

Our church's foremost mission is to bring people to Christ and make disciples of all nations

3. Helping Them Grow Spiritually:

Supporting Verse: Colossians 2:6-7 (ESV): "Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in
him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in
thanksgiving."

We are dedicated to helping individuals grow spiritually by nurturing their faith, providing them with
the spiritual nourishment and guidance needed to deepen their relationship with Christ.
4. Equipping Them to Become Disciples of God:

Our church's purpose is to equip individuals to become dedicated disciples of God, using the
Scriptures and spiritual guidance to prepare them for a life of faith and service.

the sins of the world, offering salvation to all who believe.
