Save Time and Labor with JCM’s Intelligent Cash Box System
The ICB® (Intelligent Cash Box) system is a unique cash management system that allows the
operator to track a cash box and its contents through the entire cash process. The ICB system
eliminates the need for dedicating cash boxes to specific machines, or putting barcode identification
labels on the cash boxes. The cash boxes are tracked electronically eliminating most variance
issues, and with the custom reports provided to each department, accuracy and efficiency is greatly
improved.

Technical Tips
Question: How do I calibrate the UBA using the new Mag Tool?
Answer: The easiest way to calibrate the UBA is by using the new
UBA USB Tool Suite. This program suite allows UBA
calibration, and contains the ACC Load statistics program
and Download tool as well. This USB Tool Suite program is 1
available on the JCM Web-site at:
http://www.jcm-american.com/ products/software/
download/UBAToolSuiteStandardEditionVer106.zip.
The UBA USB Tool Suite requires that version 1.71 or later
software exists in the Validator. This is the Next Gen $5 bill Initial UBA MAG Board Sensor Adjustment Selection
version that was released in February of 2008.
NOTE: Prior versions of validation software will not
respond to this new UBA USB Tool Suite.
To use this new software tool once installed, proceed as 2
follows:
1. Launch the Sensor adjustment tool program from the drop
down menu (See 1 at right) and follow the prompts outlined in Step 7 MAG Board Sensor Peak Data Display
the UBA Service Manual available on line at:
http://www.jcm-american.com/docs/manuals/960-000097.pdf.
2. Once the optical adjustments are complete, the program will
prompt you to insert the Mag Tool Calibration Board. Insert the 3
card to the proper line indicated on the Board for the particular
validator you are adjusting (See 2 above).
