Lose you again
I was working late at night in the office. I had some paperwork to finish, so I decided to
–Jisung, I’m heading home. See you on Monday –Said Woon-ho, my co-worker.
I was the last one in the building all by myself. I didn’t have much more to finish
fortunately.
Suddenly, the alarm went off as well as the lights. It was almost impossible to see
anything if it weren’t because of the lights coming out of the windows and my phone. I
didn’t have much battery left and no internet to contact Minho, my couple.

on one foot, I fell to the floor. I hissed at the pain, closing my eyes. Last thing I could
hear with clarity was the sound of the fire alarms approaching.
I was sitting by the kitchen table calling Jisung frenetically. He wasn’t picking up. It was
way past the time he should be arriving home. Turning disappointed, I received a call.
Sighing mad I picked up the phone. It wasn’t from jisung, but from Hyunjin, my friend.
–There was a gas leakage at jisung’s office. He’s at the hospital. –he replied loudly.
I sprang from my chair and ran to the car. Driving as fast as possible, I cursed.
Wait for me jisung, please, I’ve lost you once, I can not lose you again.
Arriving at the hospital I asked for his room number quickly. Running all the way up the
–Here – I stood up
–Anything. – I replied.
–Take care of our cats, fall in love again, eat a lot of pudin just how you like it, and
–I love you. – I said kissing him softly for one last time.
And with his last words he closed his eyes and passed away peacefully.
