About the Facilitator

Dr George Anderson is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of

Computer Science, University of Botswana. He holds a Doctor of
Philosophy (Engineering) from the University of Johannesburg,
South Africa, a Master of Science (Computer Science) from
Colorado State University, USA, and a Bachelor of Science
(Computer Science) from the University of Botswana.

Dr Anderson’s areas of expertise are System Software, Intelligent

Systems, and Data Matching. He has published a number of
conference and journal articles in the areas of System Software,
Intelligent Systems, and Data Matching.

He has supervised a number of post-graduate students for their theses to completion and served
on conference organising and program committees, as well as examining Doctoral and Master’s
theses for several universities. He has reviewed articles for several international journals and he is
a member of the Computer Society of Botswana.
