Goal
• To analyse the living condition of people in low income housing.
Aim and objectives
• This assignment is aimed towards analyzing a surveyed data.
• The data comprises of household details, electricity bills as well as
appliance ownership data together with basic perception data about
their living in slums and SRAs. The data also consists of household
attribute and built environment data.
• Students are expected to form a research question from the dataset.
• Based on the questions, the groups have to study existing literature
available in secondary sources and develop a methodology to
analyses the dataset.
• Appropriate inferences are to be drawn based on it.
Steps:
• Based on the given dataset, the groups have to formulate a research
question (RQ)
• A comprehensive literature review needs to be conducted to
strengthen the RQ
• A detailed methodology needs to be prepared.
• A simple data analysis needs to be conducted.
• Presenting the findings.
Important Dates
• Start Date: 5.10.2023
• Team of 4-5 members (3 is fine as well)
• Interim Discussion: 19th of October (Thursday)
• Date of submission: 6th of November 2023 (Monday)
• Final presentation: 7th, 9th & 13th of November.
