PERFORMANCE TASK #3
You are a statistician. You are assigned to gather data about the habits of at least 30
teenager students. Using the data, you have gathered, you are going to analyze the
distribution of the given data and construct a normal curve.
Part of your task is to prepare a report containing the following details:

 Data from at least 30 teenagers about the number of hours per week spent.
o in front of a cellphone/computer
o sleeping
o playing physical sports or exercising
o studying

 Mean and the standard deviation for each topic.

 A normal curve for each topic.

 Interpretation of the normal curves for each topic

 For example, if the mean for the number of hours per week spent in front of a computer is
5 hours with standard deviation of 1 hour, one possible interpretation is “68.26% of
teenagers spend 4 to 6 hours in front of a computer.”

 Your report will be used by the local government unit to understand the habits of teenagers
in the community. Future projects of the government will be based on the report that you
are going to make. Thus, it is important that your report is thorough, detailed, and precise.
Note that confidential information asked for from the participants in the survey must be
observed.

 Print your Output and submit to your teacher.
