Why I chose the topic

“Good morning! To madam and all my friend. My name is


Muhammad aqlan rusyaidi bin mohd ramli, and I’m here today to
discuss about leadership for nazir Razak. First and most, leadership
refers to the standard of leading men. It might be one of the most
important things in life. Above all, leadership has helped in the
development of Humanity's culture. Without effective leadership, no
business or organisation can succeed. But not everyone has that
ability. This is because effective leadership demands those
fundamental qualities.

Summary

Mohamed Nazir bin Abdul Razak (born 19 November 1966) is a


Malaysian banking executive. He was Chairman of CIMB Group,
which is one of the largest financial services providers in Malaysia
and ASEAN. He served as CEO of the group from 1999 to 2014.
Nazir is the youngest son of the second Prime Minister of Malaysia
Abdul Razak Hussein, and brother of the sixth Prime Minister Najib
Razak. After returning from the United Kingdom, Nazir joined the
corporate advisory department of International Business
Businessman Bankers Berhad in 1989. He increased to become
managing director and Chief executive of the bank, which by then
was known as CIMB, in 1999.His tenure as CEO ended in 2014 after
he resigned and took over as chairman which he served until 2018.
Leadership Traits and Skills

Nazir Razak is motivated to get to this point by the prospect of


receiving a reward. Additionally, according to Nazir Razak, having
humility and integrity in the workplace is one of the most vital
characteristics of successful leadership. Since there can be no trust
without honesty, Nazir Razak always had faith in his staff. A
disliked corporate culture will change over time. Integrity is a state
of mind, not a set of conditions. It's easy to compromise in more
serious situations when you give up your integrity in smaller, less
ensure a high level. A good leader should be like Datuk Sri Nazir
Razak, who is a great example of this. Additionally, he manages
CIMB's transformation into a regional universal bank.

Other leadership

Datuk Sri Nazir Razak is a model leader in every way. Until his
surrender in 2018, Datuk Sri Nazir Razak served as the CIMB
Group's Chief Executive Officer. Under the direction of Datuk Sri
Nazir Razak, CIMB became the clear master in Malaysian
investment banking in the early 2000s. Additionally, he manages
CIMB's amazing transformation into a cultural universal bank.

A leader must show good behaviour in addition to having good


traits. It is well known that Datuk Sri Nazir Razak is a task-oriented
leader. He already established some goals for CIMB to get to where
it is now during his early years as the CEO of the company. Nazir
Razak started a four-year transformation plan for CIMB even
before he resigned as chairman. This demonstrates that he was a
great leader after all, considering his organisation even after he
left.

Last but not least, another


aspect of being a leader is
having a leadership power. In

organization, leaders must
posses a power to achieve
individual, team and
organizational goals.
As a leader, Datuk Sri Nazir
Razak has a legitimate power.
A legitimate power comes to a
leader
when the organization’s
authority is accepted. Datuk
Sri Nazir has power to control
the resources

Last but not least, another aspect of being a leader is having a
leadership power. In an organisation, leaders require a power to
achieve individual, team and organisational goals. As a leader,
Datuk Sri Nazir Razak has a legal authority. A leader gains legal
power when the organization's authority is knowledged. Datuk Sri
Nazir has the authority to manage the company's resources.

Roles of a leader

The current group training facility, according to a statement from


the bank, has been renamed in honour of the former Group
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Seri Nazir Razak, who
was instrumental in CIMB's rise to role as a big power financial
group.

Nazir also became the first ever patron and registered member of
the recently established CIMB Network Of contacts for past and
present employees. Nazir's name is written in the openings of
CIMB's history as a visionary leader believer during his 29 years of
service with the company, according to CIMB Chairman Datuk
Mohd Nasir Ahmad.

The CIMB Foundation, a non-profit organisation created to carry


out the corporate social responsibility and social investment of the
CIMB group, is now in its 13th year, according to him. Nazir was
active in the community and played a significant role in its
organisation.

on track. However, Dato' Sr Nazir advises that in order to better
understand the situation, one should try to expect the needs of the
