A visit to London
Last summer Pedro and his family visited London. They travelled by plane. It was their first
flight and they were a little nervous but the trip was calm and they enjoyed it very much.

They stayed in London for two weeks. They were lucky because the weather was fine and so
they could do a lot of things.

They stayed in a nice small hotel near Hide Park. They walked along London streets, looked at
the shop windows, travelled in the famous London red buses. These buses have two floors and the
second floor of the sightseeing buses has an open deck. You can see everything more clearly.

Of course, they also visited London’s famous monuments: Buckingham Palace, Big Ben,
Westminster Cathedral, the Tower of London, etc.

Pedro’s favorite part was visiting the museums. He loved the Science Museum and Madame
Tussaud’s. They loved everything. The only thing they didn’t like very much was the food.
