Marilith (remixed) Legendary Actions


Large fiend (demon), chaotic evil
The marilith can take 3 legendary actions,
Armor Class 18 (Natural Armour) choosing from the options below. Only one
Hit Points 189(18d10+90) legendary action option can be used at a time and
Speed 40ft. only at the end of another creature’s turn. The
marilith regains spent legendary actions at the
start of their turn.

Tail Attack The marilith makes a tail attack.

attack against a creature. If the attack misses,
there is no effect. If the attack hits, in addition to
Saving Throws Str +9, Con +10, Wis +8, Cha +10 the normal damage the target must make a DC
Damage Resistance Bludgeoning, Piercing, and 20 Strength saving throw. On a failed save, it
Slashing from Nonmagical Attacks drops an object of the marilith's choosing. The
Damage Immunities Poison, Fire object lands within 10ft of the creature.
Condition Immunities Poisoned
Senses Truesight 120ft., passive Perception 13 Serpent's Grace (costs 2 actions) The marilith
Languages Abyssal, Telepathy 120ft. immediately moves without provoking attacks of
Challenge 16 (15,000 XP) opportunity.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the marilith fails a


saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.
Magic Weapons. The marilith's weapon attack are
magical.
Serpentine Body The marilith is immune to effects
that would knock it prone. If an effect would push
or move the marilith against its will along the
ground, it reduces the distance by 10ft.

Actions
Multiattack. The marilith can make four longsword
attacks.
Longsword. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit,
reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 13 (2d8 + 4) slashing
damage.
Tail. Melee Weapon Attack: +9 to hit, reach 10 ft.,
one creature. Hit: 19 (2d10 + 4) bludgeoning
damage. If the target is Medium or smaller, it is
grappled (escape DC 19). Until this grapple ends,
the target is restrained, the marilith can
automatically hit the target with its tail, and the
marilith can't make tail attacks against other
target

Reactions
Parry. The marilith adds 5 to its AC against one
melee attack that would hit it. To do so, the
marilith must see the attacker and be wielding a
melee weapon.
Retaliate If a creature hits the marilith with a
melee attack, the marilith can make a longsword
attack against that creature. To do so, the marilith
must see the attacker and be wielding a melee
weapon.
