KHOA NGOẠI NGỮ Độc lập - Tự do - Hạnh phúc
I. ĐỀ CƯƠNG KLTN
3. Phương pháp nghiên cứu (Research Methods)
Sinh viên phải trình bày được:
3.1. Phương pháp luận nghiên cứu (Methodology)
- Nêu cách tiếp cận định tính hay định lượng hay kết hợp cả hai và nêu loại
hình nghiên cứu (miêu tả, thăm dò, giải thích ...)
- Phương pháp/thủ pháp (method) thu thập dữ liệu nào được sử dụng, tại sao.
- Trình bày chi tiết phương pháp nghiên cứu được sử dụng (lí do chọn phương
pháp luận, phương pháp, kế hoạch (plan) nghiên cứu.
3.2. Đối tượng khảo sát/nghiệm thể (Selected subject/Informants: dùng cho
phiếu điều tra, phỏng vấn) là đối tượng cung cấp thông tin điều tra, khảo sát

ABSTRACT [font:14]
(This is an example for the Graduation Paper: Linguistic Nuances and Cultural
Context: An Analysis of Slang Usage among Gen Z in Urban Vietnam)
Key findings suggest that the adoption of English slang is not merely linguistic mimicry.
Instead, it serves as a form of linguistic identity, allowing users to convey nuanced
emotions, affiliations, and cultural savvy. Interestingly, while many slang terms retain
their original English meanings, some undergo a semantic shift, acquiring unique
connotations specific to the Vietnamese context.
In conclusion, the increasing use of English slang among urban Vietnamese Gen Z
individuals is emblematic of a larger global trend: the fusion of languages as a reflection
of intertwined cultures. Understanding these linguistic phenomena offers insights into
changing cultural landscapes and the evolving nature of language in the age of
globalization.

Unraveling the intricacies of language adaptation offers insights not just into
linguistic patterns but also into deeper cultural and societal shifts. By
understanding the Gen Z adoption of English slang, educators, linguists, and
cultural enthusiasts can better grasp the evolving identity of modern Vietnam.
Additionally, such insights can aid marketers and content creators targeting this
demographic.

1. If a reference entry ends with a URL or DOI, do not place a period at the end of
the entry.
2. Use an ampersand (&) to represent "and" when multiple authors are listed in a
reference entry.
4. Only capitalize the first word of the title and subtitle for books, articles, and web
pages. However, for journal titles, capitalize all major words.
This is a very basic guide to APA referencing. For more complex sources or additional
details, you might want to consult the official APA manual or trusted APA style
resources online.
