excelled as a student and athlete. And was a proud “Nan” to her grandchildren, Lucas and Logan
Tagg whom she cherished; her sister and best friend, Kathy A. The family gives her and everyone
else who cared for Diane their greatest gratitude. He loved to go camping and owned multiple
campers and motor homes over the years. But all these new methods often confuse parents, especially
those who are new homeschoolers. His prodigious memories included gathering around a family
radio powered by a car battery to listen to the election of Franklin Roosevelt, as well as a school
assembly in the 8th grade when the President declared war on Japan in 1941. Bob was preceded in

She used her craft talent to make many treasured gifts for family and friends. She was a life long
member of Saint Peter The Fisherman Catholic Church in Fairmont. At Fairmont Senior, he served as
the girls’ cross-country coach for 20 years. The pallbearers will be Jimmie and Michael Garrett, Mike
Bombard, Zachary, Joshua, and Joe Bombard. The decision to move him to a nursing home was a
difficult one but the staff treated him (and us) like family. At a crusade in Pittsburgh, she became
born again (John 3:3). He was a member of the Golf Club, played pickleball, and regularly attended
Men's Fellowship meetings. When the ALS progressed, with great strength and determination, she
would come to work, even for half a shift, to be with her work family making them smile and laugh

relished working alongside her to design and build their own hilltop home in California's wine
country. I wasn't able to attend the seminars or visit the vendors but I still met amazing people and
was able to share some of my experiences with homeschooling families from the other side of the
table. Wharton and Young were recognized first during the surprise ceremony. Competing on
October 2 and 3 in the WVSSAC High School Golf Championship at Oglebay on the Jones Course,
the Fairmont’s Senior Golf Team finished the season 3rd in the State in AA. Also surviving are many
special nieces, nephews, and numerous cousins. Ernestine was affectionately known to her
grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as Mamam. In 1977, Kermit married Phyllis Gale Williams.
This union was blessed with two children, Eric and Brandi. Tony was preceded in death by his wife
of sixty-seven years, Teresa Marie Mazza Camele. She was a long-time school teacher, 4-H leader of
the Eldora 4-H Club. She is also survived by her close friends, Dana Garlow, Lana Hess, and Mary
Lauderback: as well as the father of her children, Franklin B. As Edward Burke said, “Those who
don’t know history are doomed to repeat it.” We wish to know our history and move forward. The
Woodlawn board located the grave and donations were made to place a stone after 108 years. She is
also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two nephews. As a salesperson,
supervisor, then category space manager at Mission Beverage, he received numerous awards for his
outstanding service.
