Mutilating Process
This manual is to instruct suppliers on how to mutilate and send samples to Renner. By default, the samples must be
mutilated and the correct information must be indicated in the documents to facilitate entry into Brazil.
How?
The correct way to mutilate the samples is to make a 1 to 2 centimeter cut in each garment with scissors. The
size cannot go far out of this range to avoid been visible for e-samples or impact on fitting analyses.
Where?
The places where each piece of clothing should be mutilated are standardized and described in this manual
(separated in “10 types” described on the next pages), so that it does not affect any of the features that the
samples are used for. We need to avoid damaging parts of approvals / finishes (such as the seams of clothes,
for example) in order not to impair quality and fitting analyses.
