Abstract
Introduction: Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose is one of the main contributor for
India’s Struggle of Independence.
Concept & theme: Netaji was intellectual, Genius, Visionary, Economist, a Great Leader,
etc. He was very good at bureaucracy, social civics, Diplomacy, Geo-
Political Partnerships, etc. We shall see few incidents in further
section.
Conclusion: Netaji was so different from others and was too brave compared to
others. His ideas and plans are something to be proud of. There can
never be a Netaji again.
Introduction
Subhas Chandra Bose was born on 23rd January, 1897 at Cuttack, Orrisa. He did his education
in European School, Cuttack and secured 2nd rank in his 10th grade. Further he went to
Presidency College for his higher studies. He was such an excellent leader, he was made the
Head of Student Council in his college. He was expelled in the Presidency College for his
Nationalist activities.
Then his father told him to write the ICS (Indian Civil Services) exam, which is the top most
ranked exam. Netaji had to go to London to write the exam, and he cracked the exam just
within 7 months, while all other took 4 years, and became a rank holder! Netaji thought ‘My
country is being robbed and cheating from the Britishers and I shouldn’t be one among them’
and he immediately left the job. This made astonished everyone, including the Britishers. This
also made many Indians to come together and meet him and stand for him.
Concept and theme
Subhash Chandra Bose considered Mahatma Gandhi as his Guru. Though their thoughts and
actions differed, Netaji had a great respect for him. Bose was the one who didn’t want
Dominion Status, rather he wanted complete freedom. Eventually, people started liking Netaji
more than Gandhiji. He also won the President elections in 1939, but he was told to resign by
Gandhiji. Netaji then said “Our thoughts and way might be different, but our goal is the same”.
He was then put to jail and was beaten by the Britishers. He then was brought to home with
a British informer. Netaji thought to make a foreign alliance, considering that the World War
II was going on and teaming up with the Axis Alliance, who were also against the Britishers.
He planned very brilliantly and went to Germany, seeking Hitler’s help. Initially he didn’t get
an appointment to meet Hitler, but when he got, he recognized the doppelgangers of Hitler,
which no one in the World had done and pleased to meet Hitler. Hitler then came to him
and asked him how he recognized his doppelgangers, when Hitler got to know, he was
surprised and told “I have never seen such an intelligent person in my life”. Further, Hitler
released 4,000 prisoners and everyone in them was a part of Azad Hind Fauj. Netaji then
went to Japan and influenced Japanese Prime Minister. He helped Japan to take control of
Singapore by his brilliant ideas. By this, he got around 50,000 soldiers added to his Army.
CONCLUSION :
Netaji’s death was a very controversial incident and many people believe that Netaji survived
the air crash and still lived for about 15 years. This incident took right after he had got his
army. Netaji went the The Azad Hind Fauj army (Indian National Army) and killed British
soldiers in Manipur and hoisted The Indian Flag for the first time. He was the first person to
make a Women Army in the country.
Bose had planned to go to Moscow and team with USSR. He left Viatnam in flight. During the
journey, he was dead in a plane crash near Taiwan airport. Knowing this, the British leaders
in India took control of the places and leaders who were under Netaji. Soon after these
incidents, British soldiers in The Royal Navy, The Royal Air Force and The Royal Army were
beaten by Azad Hind Fauj Army and this became a very big news. The Britishers came to know
that it was impossible to fight against 25,00,000 Indian soldiers, while they had only 40,000
soldiers. The rebellion got more stronger and bigger as Britishers started firing Indians. At that
point of time, Britishers knew they had to leave India.
Subhash Chandra Bose is the biggest contributor for India’s Independence.
