Method:

1. Materials and apparatus will be set up.


2. Iron filings will be sprinkled on a flat surface around the electromagnet.
3. The electromagnet will be reconnected to the power supply using wires and
connectors.
4. The electric current supplied to the electromagnet will be gradually increased.
5. The multimeter will be used to measure the voltage across the electromagnet and
the current flowing through it.
6. These values will be recorded at different current levels.
7. The movement of the striker or clapper in response to changes in the electric current
will be observed.
8. Any audible ringing produced by the striking mechanism will be noted.
9. The current supplied to the electromagnet will be gradually adjusted.
10. The striker's movement and the sound produced by the bell will be observed.
11. Observations will be recorded.
12. A Graph of Decibel vs Current will be plotted.
