CIRCULAR NO. 29/66/2024/08 5-3-2024

TO ALL OFFICE BEARERS/STATE FEDERATIONS/
ALL INDIA BANKWISE UNIONS
Dear Comrades,

IBA invites UFBU to sign the wage revision Settlement

At Mumbai on 8th March, 2024 ( instead of 11th)

We had informed our unions that IBA has invited UFBU/Unions for signing the
final Settlement at Chennai on the 11th March, 2024. In the meantime, today
night, IBA contacted UFBU that due to exigencies, the meeting has to be
preponed to 8th march at Mumbai.
Accordingly, the Bipartite meeting will be held at Mumbai on the 8 th March,
2024 and the 12th Bipartite Settlement will be signed on that day.

A lot of our members are contacting us with various queries. Once the
Settlement is signed, the full details will be informed to all our unions and
members immediately.
Many pensioners are contacting us whether the additional Ex-gratia agreed by
the IBA with the UFBU will be implemented along with the Bipartite
Settlement. We have already clarified that the 12th BP Settlement will include
ex-gratia payment for all the pensioners/family pensioners (from January,
1986 to October, 2022). Arrears of Ex-gratia is payable from November,
2022. Pensioners need not have any anxiety in this regard.

We also observe some malicious messages in the social media by some of the
misguided or ill-informed employees/officers. At the time of every settlement
such attempts are made by some elements for one reason or the other. We
shall reply and deal with these issues later on after the Settlement is signed.
Our members need not give much cognisance to this deliberate propaganda.
All of us know who are behind these attempts.

Let us move towards successful signing of the Bipartite Settlement so that the
benefits of the same are extended to the employees and pensioners without
further delay.

With greetings,
Yours Comradely,

C.H. VENKATACHALAM
GENERAL SECRETARY
