2) Broken Links
⮚ The links which are having 4XX status code or not existing are considered
as broken links
⮚ How to check- Tools used to check (broken links checker)

⮚ Impact- Crawling flow is interrupted and link juice is not passed

3) Server Error
⮚ Status code starting from 5XX are considered as server errors

⮚ How to check- Check the status code of that url in extensions

⮚ Impact- Page is not rendered as server side issue occurs and UX is


affected

4) Redirection
⮚ The status code starting from 3XX are redirected urls

⮚ In seo 301 is good practice

⮚ 301 is permanent redirection

⮚ 302 is temporary redirection

⮚ How to check:- Check the status code of that url in extension


⮚ Impact:- Wrong redirection will pass PA to a different page and User will
not get relevant information. Target URL should be redirected to
destination URL only

5) Canonical
⮚ Canonical is basically used to prevent indexing of duplicate pages

⮚ So canonical should be main page URL

⮚ Impact- If Duplicate page is having same URL as its canonical the google
will index that Duplicate page instead of main page and it will affect the
ranking of the main page due to cannibalisation

6) Schema
⮚ Schema is used to understand google what type of content is present in
the particular web page
⮚ Types of schema- FAQ , blog, Video, Breadcrumb , How to ,
object ,Organization ,Image.
⮚ How to check- we can check in Source code(ld+json) or SEO pro
extension
⮚ Impact: using schema is good practice in SEO which helps google to
understand the type of content / information is used webpage and

⮚ There are 2 sitemaps (HTML sitemap , XML Sitemap)

⮚ Html sitemap is for user to navigate the website

⮚ XML sitemap is for Crawler to understand the internal navigation of the


website

⮚ Internal linking is mainly used for crawler to crawl the hyperlinks placed
keywords and other links .Internal linking also helps user to engage within

10) Indexing
⮚ To check how many pages are indexed by the google

13) Image ALT Tag


 Alt is an attribute of img tag which is used for writing what image is about

 Core web vitals are the parameters which affects the performance of the
website. Here are some of the important CWV.

 LCP (Largest contentful paint)


The time require to load the main content of the webpage or largest visible
part. (It should be below 2.5s)

 FID (First Input Delay)


It is the time required by browser to actually respond to the first interaction
by the user. (It should be below 100ms)

 FCP (First contentful paint)


The time require to load the fisrt pixel or first point of the webpage . (It
should be below 1.8s)

 TTI (time To Interactive)


The required by the webpage to befully interactive.
(It should be below 3.8s)

15) ISRT (Initial Server Response Time)


 The time required by the server when user clicks the URL till server
respond to that request.

16) Page speed


 Page speed score is calculated by considering the scores of all the
parameters that affects the performance of the website.
Above 90 is good page speed score
 If CWV,ISRT and other parameters are in ideal range then automatically
score will be on the higher side

17) Title & Description

 Title length should be between 60 – 80 characters


 Title should contain Primary keyword
 &amp should not be present in title (can check in Source code)

 Description length should be between 160 – 180 characters


 Title should contain Primary keyword as well as secondary keyword

18) URL Structure


 We cannot change existing URL, URL recommendation only for new
pages
 Small letters are recommended
 Make it as Short as possible

19) AMP (Accelerated mobile pages )


 AMP pages are created to load faster on mobile devices
 It uses light weight javascript which helps the page to load quickly
 How to check: Find “amphtml” in source code

20) Google search Console


 It is an software by the google which gives overall data as well as page
wise data of the website which is added as the property.
 Clicks :- It shows the number of clicks by the users among the world
 Impressions: It shows how many time your page was displayed in SERP
 We can select specific time duration when we use GSC
 Maximum 1000 urls data can be downloaded
 Performance can be checked by pasting particular urls
 We can send indexing request mannualy
 Queries or keyword ranked for that particular page can be tracked

21) Google Analytics


 It Is also an software created by the google to track Analytic data of the
website

There are 4 Main sections are used

1.Realtime report

The real time data is tracked in this section like current active users,

2.Audience Report

This report tells us New users, Geo location, Medium etc

3.Acquisition

This report tells the source of the users like Direct, referral, organic, paid

4.Behaviour

This report tells us the the Events , site content etc.

Google Analytics has other large number of reports on different sections
