You are on page 1of 2

Hi all!

As the pandemic continues to rage on, we are unfortunately unable to have your
pictures taken in person, as a class nor as individual portraits. As such we are forced to
shift our photoshoot online.

For all years 7,8, 9, 10 and 11 you will only need to take a portrait of yourself as shown.

1) You will need:

- a camera with ash (a phone is enough)
- desk lamp with white lights
- a white background
- a chair
- phone stand / tripod

2) Set up the mentioned things as shown in Fig. 1 & 2.

3) Take your picture, following these rules:

• Wear your polo uniform (or librarian / prefect uniforms)
• Your collar should be down and buttons buttoned (the top
button doesn’t need to be buttoned for the polo)
• Your uniform must have a name tag and the school logo
and the stripe below it should be visible (like the picture).
• Your hair should be kept tidy.
• Send your picture in a 4:3 aspect ratio and portrait
orientation

Tips:
Position your camera at eye level
Use a ash to get even lighting on your face
If you are using sunlight for lighting, make sure that the sunlight is coming in towards you.
To reduce shadows, keep the distance between you and the background minimal.

Once you’ve taken your picture, email the picture to your class monitor (DO NOT WHATSAPP).

Class monitors are to rename all of the portrait les with the full name and class of the student
[ i.e : chongyoongwen11s.jpg ] and put their portrait in the respective class google drive folder
which will be sent out to each class monitor.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION: 16 JULY 2021]
