Today I would like to present you three most popular wedding in a royal

family, recorded and televised all over the world. Actually there’s been a lot of
them in british monarchy history, starting with Queen Victoria that married
Prince Albert in 1840, ending up with the latest, Maghan Markle and Prince
Harry’s wedding, the most (let’s say) controvercial and at the same time so
different one which took place on 19th May, this year.
The first wedding ceremony I would like to show you, is one of my the most
favourite.
The wedding of Charles-Prince of Wales and young, unexperianced Lady
Diana Spencer took place on 29th July 1981 at St Paul’s Cathedral in London.
The Queen of Hearts, very shy, so optimisic (at that time) and spontaneous a
person. And Charles- a future king, very serious and also reserved man. It
seemed to be another Cinderella Story but, this time, without ’happy ending ’. In
spite of the fact that their marriage was called ‘Fairytale wedding’. The
ceremony was fallowed by around 750 million of people. Many street parties
were held throughout The United Kingdom to celebrate the occasion.
Princess Diana wore an extarmely ample dress, designed by David
Emmanuel and his wife. It was sewn off silk, tafetta and 10 thousand pearls and
sequins. Despite that, there was a 8 metres long train, veil and a gorgeous tiara.
The girl was thought as so lucky but the truth was complately different.
The couple separated in 1992 and divorced in 1996. Then, in 1997 later 36-years
old Princess of Wales died in a car accident.

The second wedding I want to tell you is Prince William and Catherine’s
Middelton one. The ceremony took place on 29 April 2011 at Westminster
Abbey in London. The bride had been his girlfriend since 2004 and the groom
is second in the line of succession to the British throne. Their wedding was
fallowed by million citiziens who came to London and it is said that the
ceromony was seen by more that 2 milliard people all over the world.
The bridal dress, designed by the
London-based designer Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen, was made of satin
and featured an overlaid lace bodice and appliqued skirt. Queen Elizabeth II
received the tiara from her mother on her 18th birthday. In order to avoid her
diadem falling off, as had happened for Lady Diana Spencer while wearing a
Spencer family one during her 1981 wedding to the Prince of Wales, she had her
hairstyle done complately different. Many guests (or their
successors in office) who were invited to the wedding of Charlaes, Prince of
Wales, and Lady Diana Spencer were not invited to William's wedding. The
overall price of the event was reportedly £23.7 million.
The lasted wedding ceremony I’d like to show you is The wedding of Prince
Harry and Meghan Markle, an American actress which was held on 19 May
2018 in St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in the United Kingdom. On her
marriage, Markle became Duchess of Sussex.
British designer Clare Waight Keller secured the
fashion commission of the year, as the designer of the silk cady royal
wedding dress that Meghan Markle chose to wear as she married Prince Harry in
Windsor. The dress was very expensive and the overall cost is expected to be
around £32 million. The wedding was widely reported as being
significant for its departure from tradition typically associated with the Royal
Family and for its inclusion of African-American culture in the service. It was
described as a "landmark for African Americans", for Black British, black and
mixed-race women, and for the Royal Family itself. If it comes to that artistic
part of the ceremony, there was a c gospel choir performance, singing ‘Stand
by me’, apart from thath Elton John performed for the guests and the groom and
the Prince of Wales each gave a speech. As a suprise I can tell you that
Megan Markle decided to give her guests who decided to order pizza, white
house slipperd during the event.
