Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton was born in Reading, Berkshire. She is the oldest of three children . Her mother was a flight attendant, and her father an airline officer for British Airways. In 1987 they founded Party Pieces, a mail order company that sells party supplies and decorations. They have since become millionaires. Kate studied at the University of St Andrews in the town of St Andrews in Fife, where she met Prince William and graduated in History of Art. Relationship with Prince William Kate's status as the girlfriend of Prince William brought her widespread media coverage in the UK and abroad, and she was often photographed on her daily outings. On 16th November 2010, Clarence House announced that the couple are to marry in 2011. The couple became engaged in October 2010 in Kenya, East Africa, during a 10-day trip to the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy to celebrate William's passing his RAF helicopter search and rescue course. They are to marry in Westminster Abbey on 29th April 2011. Prince William

Prince William is the elder son of The Prince of Wales and the late Diana, Princess of Wales. He was born on 21st June 1982, in London. Education After attending Mrs Mynors School, Prince William became a pupil at Wetherby School in London, then he went to Ludgrove School in Berkshire, for five. Finally he attended Eton College and studied Geography, Biology and History of Art at A Level. After a gap year in which he visited Chile, Belize, worked on British dairy farms and visited countries in Africa, Prince William chose to study at St Andrews University in Fife, Scotland. He graduated with in Geography in 2005. Princess Diana Prince William was 15-years-old when Diana, Princess of Wales was killed in a car crash in Paris on 31st August 1997. Prince William and Prince Harry walked behind their mothers cortege at her funeral which was held at Westminster Abbey on 6 th September 1997. Military career After a period of work experience, Prince William joined the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst as an Officer Cadet. He was commissioned as an army officer in front of Her Majesty The Queen at Sandhurst in December 2006 and joined the Household Cavalry (Blues and Royals) as a Second Lieutenant. On St George's Day (23rd April 2008) The Queen appointed Prince William to be a Royal Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter. Although a Lieutenant in the Household Cavalry, Prince William is now training to be a search and rescue Pilot with the Royal Air Force. Humanitarian commitment At the same time, Prince William is President or Patron to a number of charities and organisations whose work he wishes to support.
