Terms of Reference For Supervisors
The ETT Supervisor will oversee the activities of focal persons in collaboration with IOM team. They
should be flexible enough to take up other duties as need arises. Their responsibilities include:
Receive daily and weekly reports and record them on the report template. This is to be shared with
IOM Staff on a weekly basis.
Fill in data of weekly reports into the Kobo questionnaire on the tablet.
Constantly update and share with IOM Staff the list of KIs per focal person.
Document and share with IOM staff on a weekly basis the challenges and recommendations of
focal persons in their respective sub-divisions.
Provide timely and immediate reports on any difficulties encountered during the implementation of
the project.
Monitor and evaluate the project and make proposals for improvement.
Ensure that data is collected (well triangulated) and reported as explained during the training, in
compliance with humanitarian standards and principles.
Assist in verifying ETT questionnaires submitted by Focal Persons.
Provide guidance to Focal Persons when needed.
Submit weekly reports on the status of the project and your activities.
Assist in drafting and submitting the financial and narrative, interim and final reports, according to
the schedule defined by the partnership agreement, and according to the model / items specified by
the IOM.
Ensure that focal persons are sensitive about situation that can put their lives and other in danger.
For instance, ensure they are COVID-19 and conflict sensitive in their work approach.
Attend trainings and review meetings organised within the framework of the project.
Assist in any other duties that may be assigned by the Coordinator or IOM staff.
SHELTER/NFI SUPERVISOR
The Shelter/NFI Supervisor will oversee the activities of community mobilisers and distributors/crowd
controllers in collaboration with IOM team. They should be flexible enough to take up other duties as need
arises. Their responsibilities include:
