AFFIFADAVIT OF COMPLAINT
I, HARVEY D. KABOGBOG, of legal age, Filipino Citizen, single, residing at Purok 3, Falcata
Street, Barangay Tubod, Iligan City, after having duly sworn to in accordance with law do hereby
depose and say:

1. That I am complaint in the above entitled case;

2. That I am formally accuses ASTERIO A. TAROTOY and BENJOHN N. PUGATOT, for the
crime of Robbery penalized under Art. 293 of the Revised Penal Code, committed as
follow, to wit:

a. That evening, January 23, 2022, I HARVEY D. KABOGBOG, was passing at the Jose
Ong St. Purok 25 Roosevelt, Barangay Saray, Iligan City.
b. While I was passing on the said street I was holding a bag in my right arm and a book
in the left arm, walking in a moderate pace towards at St. Peter’s College.
c. That at St. Peter’s College crossing two of a men riding in a motorcycle stopped in
front of me. The men riding at the back holding a knife which is he pointed at me
and he said if I will not give to them my properties he will kill me.

3. Because of a terrible fear that the man will stab me if I don’t give my bag. I handed my
bag containing the following, Brown wallet, Money (15,000), black Iphone 13, School
Materials such my notes in criminology subjects.
4. Then after they took my bag, I scream loudly a “theft” “theft” “theft” or “magnanakaw”.
5. Then a roving patrol car passed by right after the said incident which immediately
chased the two men in motorcycle. They crossed Espana Boulevard and I already lost
sight of them after several seconds while I my knees were trembling.
6. That the two men, as I remembered, were both wearing jackets; the man in front,
driving was wearing a blue jacket and maong pants while the man at the back was
wearing a black jacket with maong pants. The man in front was wearing a helmet while
the man at the back was wearing a black cap. The motorcycle is a Honda Click 125v2
(red) and “for registration” at the back.
7. That after a few minutes of standing at that street, a police mobile suddenly appeared
saying that the other policemen in the car which chased the two men in the motorcycle
reported the incident to them so they went to Roosevelt area and found me standing in
front of a closed establishment, almost near St Peter’s College.
8. After about 40 minutes in the police station, there were two policemen, identified as
PO2 Kent B. Taloytoy and PO2 Kovee C. Tirador, who were accompanying two men who
appeared to be the men who grabbed my shoulder bag.
9. Later on, I positively identified the two men as those who were in the motorcycle
because of the black cap, the blue and black jackets that they wear respectively.
10. That the shoulder bag that was snatched from me with force and intimidation was with
PO2 Kovee C. Tirador already who alleged that he got the same during the apprehension
that they did. All the things inside my bag were recovered in good condition.
11. That all these stated herein are true and were stated freely without any force or
intimidation done against me
12. To attest to the truthfulness of the foregoing, I, Harvey D. Kabogbog, complainant,
