JUDICIAL AFFIDAVIT OF COMPLAINANT

I, Renzil Balicudcud, 25 years old, female, single, public school teacher and a resident
of Balite St., Brgy Sta. Clara, Bobon, Northern Samar, after having been duly sworn to in
accordance with law, hereby depose and say:

That it was Atty. Rogelaine Garcelazo, resident of Catarman, Northern Samar who
conducted the examination of the undersigned affiant at Garcelazo Law Office in Brgy.
Cawayan, Catarman, Northern Samar;

That I hereby state that in answering the questions asked of me as appearing below, I was
fully conscious that I did so under oath, and that I may face criminal liability for false testimony
or perjury;

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Question 1 : Why are you here in our office?

Answer : I am here to file a criminal complaint for Robbery against Oliver Gelera,
because he unlawfully entered my house and took/stole my Acer Aspire F15 red laptop worth
Php 50,000.00 (Exhibit “A”); Black Huawei Nova 2i cellphone worth Php6,000.00 (Exhibit
“B”); and my brown pouch (Exhibit “C”) containing cash amounting to Php 4,000.00 (Exhibit
“D”), and ATM cards and identification cards (Exhibit “E”).

Question 2 : Do you personally know the suspect one Oliver Gelera?

Answer : Yes sir, I know him because he is a zumba instructor in our locality and I attend
his zumba classes at the plaza sometimes.

Question 3 : When and where did this incident happen?

Answer : On or about 2:00 AM in my residence located at Balite St., Brgy Sta. Clara,
Bobon, Northern Samar.

Question 4 : How did the suspect enter into your house?

Answer : The suspect entered through the kitchen window by removing the jalousies
blades (Exhibit “F”).

Question 5 : What exactly happened in that incident?

Answer : On May 1, 2021 at around 2:00 AM, while I was sleeping inside my room at our
house in Brgy. Sta. Clara, Bobon, Northern Samar, I was awaken by an indistinct noise
apparently coming from the living room. Curious of what it could be, I decided to go out of my
room to check what was going on. After I switched on the light bulb located at the living room, I
saw Oliver Gelera wearing black T-shirt, blue short pants and a pair of slippers, carrying my pink
backpack (Exhibit “G”) and running towards the kitchen door (Exhibit “H”) where he exited and
fled away .

Question 6 : Then what happened next?

Answer : I immediately shouted for help and went out of the house through the kitchen
door to chase Oliver Gelera. At our backyard, I noticed Oliver’s left foot slipper (Exhibit “I”)
laid on the grass.

Question 7 : How did you know that it was Oliver’s slipper?

Answer: : I knew it was his because it I saw him wearing it while he was inside the house.

Question 8 : Then what did you do next?

Answer : I ran about two blocks away from my house towards the direction where Oliver
Gelera fled, until I met the group of Police Officer Geessa Maglasang who were conducting their
ronda patrol. I told them about the incident, and they immediately went to look for Oliver
Gelera.

Question 9 : Then what happened next?

Answer : Around 2:45 AM, I went to Bobon Police Station to file a complaint regarding
the incident. The personnel on duty ask several questions and recorded my complaint in their
blotter.

Question 10 : Then what happened next?

Answer : At about 3:00 AM the same date, I was informed by a personnel of Bobon
Police Station that the suspect was already arrested. I immediately went to Bobon Police Station
and I saw the suspect whom I recognized to be the same person who entered my house and I
know him as Oliver Gelera.

Question 11: Did the Police conduct an investigation at the crime scene?
Answer : Yes. They accompanied me to my house at around 4:AM and they took photos
of the crime scene while conducting the investigation.

Question 12: Do you have anything more to add to your statements?

Answer : That would be all Attorney.

2. Neither I nor any other person/s coached this affiant regarding the answers given by
her.
