Background Information:

ABL Asset Management Company Limited (ABL Funds) is a leading asset management company in Pakistan.
Incorporated in 2007, ABL Asset Management Company Limited (ABL Funds) is a wholly owned subsidiary of
Pakistan’s First established commercial bank (Allied Bank Limited). ABL Funds aims to help people from all
walks of life to prosper by putting their savings and investments to work in the economy and achieve their
investment goals. It aims to satisfy all the investment needs of the customers and seeks to differentiate itself
through a single point of contact, a highly accessible and personalized service model.

The board of ABL comprises of executive directors and independent non-executive directors. The Executive
Board is responsible for the day-to-day operational management of the company. The senior board members

ABL core business is to provide investment solutions and advisory services to individual and corporate clients.
The investment solutions include a broad spectrum of options ranging from equity, fixed income, money
market, capital preservation, fund of fund, asset allocation and voluntary pension scheme mutual funds.
Moreover, ABL offer clients a relatively tailored and cost-effective option to draft their own portfolio structing
and Investment Management, popularly known as SMAs-Separately Managed Accounts, providing expert
guidance and suggestions on how to achieve their investment objective.

Each investment option is categorized under an asset class that has different investment features, the level of
risk and potential for delivering returns and performance in different market conditions. Different investments
respond differently to the prevailing economic situation and will rise or fall in value at different times and at
different rates. Usually, financial markets can experience short-term instability, brought on by a specific event
or sometimes simply unpredictable investor sentiment, and it can take some time for them to balance out again,
sensible to plan for the long term. Holding a well-diversified, balanced portfolio uses the different
characteristics of each option to smoothen fluctuations in performance and reduce investment risk. ABL being
the fund manager professionally manages the fund, invests client money across different investment avenues,
asset classes, and financial markets with an approach to risk that may align with the investment objectives of the
fund.

Our highly experienced and dedicated management board is responsible for the day-to-day business of the ABL
funds. It’s main duties are to develop and propose strategies to achieve company’s mission and objectives and
to measure and report on the ABL’s performance. It takes responsibility for the management and delivery of our
activities.

Exhibit 2: Leadership shift and New CEO strategic vision

Ali Khalid Ghaznavi has very recently stepped down from his role as Chief Executive Officer and a new Chief
Executive Officer, Naveed Nasim, has just been appointed. Naveed Nasim is a seasoned professional with over
23 years of experience in Corporate and Investment Banking, Risk Management and Commercial Banking.

Naveed joined the company in February of this year. He holds MBA degree and is a Certified Trade Financial
Professional (CTFP). He joins the ABL funds having had a successful and varied career in industry, where he
held numerous senior managerial positions at leading financial institutions including Habib Bank Limited and
Allied Bank Limited, the parent company of ABL funds.
