and doesn't always conform to traditional
expectations.
o Show examples of diverse gender expressions
(optional) and discuss how they challenge
stereotypes.
3. Challenging Stereotypes and Biases:
o Discuss how harmful stereotypes and biases
can affect people based on their gender identity
or expression.
o Encourage students to identify and challenge
these stereotypes in their own lives and
communities.
o Role-play scenarios where someone is
misgendered or stereotyped, and practice
respectful responses.

 Read an age-appropriate children's book about gender


identity (optional) to reinforce learning.
