TECHNICAL PRESENTATION AND CLIENT-CLOSING REPORT

Date: 20th February 2024

Executive Summary
The mechanical project team of SALTA Infrastructure & Construction Company Limited paid a visit to
Aluminum Rolling Mill (ARM), a subsidiary of Tower Group. The visitation established a working
relationship and interest by both parties to work together in the foreseeable future. The facility is a
recently acquired asset and in need of gradual modification over the course of time.

Recommendation on the above stated findings is to swiftly corner and monopolize the business
presented by client (chiefly the mechanical projects) by registering as a vendor.

Introduction
The purpose of visit to the Aluminum Rolling Mill (ARM) facility was to present the prospective client, by
show of experience and expertise, with technical capabilities of SALTA to execute mechanical (piping and
related activities), civil and structural activities. The visit of the technical team revealed the client’s plans
for factory modification, an interest in registering a mechanical vendor to carry out such modifications as
deemed necessary by client, and an urgency for commencement of such modifications as proposed by
client.

Visitation Team Members and Roles

The mechanical project personnel on the visitation were a three-man strong team, comprising of Engr.
Damilola (civil engineer), QS. Sheriff Bello (quantity surveyor), and Engr. Christopher Ojo (mechanical
piping and project engineer) the team-lead.
The role of Engr. Christopher was to provide leadership, showcase SALTA’s technical capabilities to
handle mechanical projects of clients, and convince the client to take SALTA on as their mechanical
vendor and vendor in related projects.

The QS. Sheriff Bello was to provide support, relevant information on past and presented projects being
executed, and background information on SALTA when requested by the client.

Engr. Damilola was to provide added support as required.

Objective
The primary objective of the visit was to convince the client of SALTA’s experience, expertise, technical
and financial capabilities to carry out mechanical project works, such as piping, radiography, hydro-
testing and related works.

Observation
The team made some significant observations, and these are stated hereunder;

1. The client is fully aware and safety conscious

2. The client has a work permit process that is to be adhered to
3. The client has a payment structure of 50:45:5 percentages. 50% upfront of project, 45% on
completion of project, and 5% after six (6) months of completion of project
4. The client urgently requires minor modification of some of it utility pipelines (4” firewater line, 2”
natural gas line, and a PVC line behind the factory building)
5. The client has other projects in the barrel. A prominent one being a five-skid CNG and PRMS
(pressure reducing and metering station) facility
6. The client requires, to expedite vendor registration process and contract award, that SALTA provides
all statutory and necessary documentations, including but not limited to past project experiences
with proof.

Recommendation
Having achieved the objective of visitation to the client's facility with record success, a final action is
required to seal a prospective business partnership. And providing the client with the underlisted
documents will ensure a successful vendor registration.

other unrelated companies when they receive optimal services from a contractor. Thereby, creating a
larger business opportunity for such contractors whose services they find satisfactory.
