Mini Project Guidelines for BBA Aviation 5th Semester

5.6 Mini Project on Airline Operations: Industrial visit to Domestic Airport The
Student has to submit a Project Report of nearly 100 to 120 Pages. This Project
must be prepared based on the functional areas of a Domestic Airline
Company (All Operational Areas must be Covered). The Project carries 70
Marks for Project Report and 30 Marks for Viva-Voce. It has to be valued by
B.O.E Members and Viva-Voce also must be conducted by B.O.E Members.
B.O.E must invite one External Industry Expert for Viva-Voce Examinations.

Review of Literature

Students are supposed to review minimum 25 – 35 literature review based on

the study area.

Major observations

Key challenges or prospects or innovative practices or even pitfalls and

operational deficiencies of area under observation.

Suggestions:

Suggestions should be given according to the observed findings. Suggestions

should be sound and at par with the findings of the study.

General Guidelines for the project

 Due to the pandemic situation, the project would be entirely based on

secondary data, if situation permits can go for Airport visit.
 The report should be typed on one side of the sheet and the pages
should be numbered serially.
 Margin: left Margin 1.5", top, bottom and right margin - 1"
 Alignment and justification: The entire text must be justified. It means
the text must have no uneven space from the left margin and right
margin.
 1.5 line spacing should be used for typing the general text.
 The general text shall be typed in the font style - Times New Roman and
font size is 12.
 Font 14 can be used for titles.

 Project completion letter (college letter head) singed by Principal and
Guide (Annexure 2)
 Student declaration (Annexure 3)
 Acknowledgement (Annexure 4)
 Table of Contents (Annexure 5)
 Executive Summary: It can also be referred to as the summary of the
project. The student must briefly mention the background, scope,
method and purpose of the report along with brief insights into the
results and conclusions. It must be of a minimum of half page to a
maximum of 1 page.
